It is the responsibility of the entire international community to acknowledge the needs and rights of refugees and others in need of international protection and it is our obligation to refrain from sending refugees to countries in which their lives and liberties will be at risk. POHL assists these victims of persecution with filing the appropriate documents required by international treaties, counsel, support, food, shelter, transportation, and assistance with any and all other aspects needed for the successful transition of these victims and survivors into society. Once all documents have been successfully filed and approved, victims of persecution due to ethnic identities, and religious and/or political beliefs ( to name a few) are treated as US residents.
POHL prioritizes victim and survivor safety through our Refugee Protection program. In collaboration with Karidat Social Services Saipan, we ensure that all victims and survivors are safe during the immigration, legal, and reintegration processes.
